Epigenetic Mechanisms and Cancer Treatment
Keystone Symposia
Dates: February 4 – February 7, 2024
Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States
Keynote Speaker: Cigall Kadoch
Organizers: Marisa Bartolomei, Tony Kouzarides, and Rab Prinjha
This Keystone meeting will focus on the latest advances in cancer epigenetics. Attendees can expect unique opportunities to engage with academia and industry throughout the conference. Workshops designed for early-career scientists will also be available. The abstract deadlines have passed, but we look forward to attending – hope to see you there!
-
Chromatin Structure and Function
Gordon Research Conference (GRC)
Dates: July 7 – July 12, 2024
Location: Smithfield, Rhode Island, United States
Chair and Vice Chair: Geeta J. Narlikar and Andreas Ladurner
This GRC conference promises a comprehensive update on the latest breakthroughs in epigenetics. Topics will span multiple disciplines, including biochemistry, cell biology, physiology, and chemistry. Ample time will be given for networking between sessions. Applications for this meeting must be submitted by June 9, 2024.
-
Biological Methylation: Fundamental Mechanisms
Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB)
Dates: July 28 – August 1, 2024
Location: Porto, Portugal
Keynote Speakers: Adrian Bird and Mark Dawson
Organizers: Claire Davies, Kai Ge, Brian Strahl, Capucine Van Rechem
Held in the gorgeous city of Porto, Portugal, this conference will bring together scientists from various fields to discuss the regulation of DNA, RNA, and protein methylation. Chromatin methylation mechanisms in disease will be a central topic, as well as novel inhibitors targeting methyltransferases and demethylases. Be sure to catch the talk by EpiCypher’s Chief Scientific Officer, Michael-Christopher Keogh, who will update scientists on our latest chromatin technologies. Additional workshops will provide guidance on professional development and help facilitate connections between early-career scientists and experts. The abstract submission deadline is June 2, 2024.
-
Chromatin, Epigenetics & Transcription
Cold Spring Harbor (CSH)
Dates: May 13 – May 17, 2024
Location: Suzhou, China
Keynote Speakers: Shelley Berger and Neil Brockdorff
Organizers: Genevieve Almouzni, Hiroyuki Sasaki, Yang Shi, Bing Zhu
This conference hosted by Cold Spring Harbor will cover several areas central to chromatin structure and function, including histone, DNA, and RNA modifications, chromatin remodeling, and transcriptional regulation. Abstracts submitted by the March 8, 2024 deadline will be considered for the poster session and oral presentations.
-
Chromatin dynamics and nuclear organization in genome maintenance
European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO)
Dates: June 17 – June 20, 2024
Location: Leiden, Netherlands
Keynote Speakers:
Organizers: Haico van Attikum, Gaëlle Legube, Philipp Oberdoerffer, Sophie Polo, Evi Soutoglou
Held in Leiden, the birthplace of Rembrandt, this EMBO workshop will focus on the role of chromatin structure in maintaining genomic integrity. Various topics related to chromatin signaling in DNA damage responses will be covered, such as DNA repair mechanisms, maintenance of histone modifications, and nucleosome remodeling. EpiCypher’s CSO Michael-Christopher Keogh will also speak at this conference, making it a meeting you won’t want to miss. The registration and abstract deadlines are April 1, 2024.
We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming meeting! See our full list of conferences here or follow us on LinkedIn for updates.
