Five Epigenetics Conferences for Summer and Fall 2023

The field of epigenetics is rapidly changing and expanding world-wide. Conferences are an excellent way to connect with experts and learn about the latest developments in the field. Here are five epigenetics and chromatin biology meetings we are looking forward to attending in the remaining months of 2023.

1. Epigenetics Society International Meeting: Epigenetics of Disease and Development

Dates: October 12 – 14, 2023

Located near the famous Trevi fountain, this conference will feature topics that range from chromatin remodeling to plant epigenetics. With six keynote speakers and 19 featured speakers, we are excited for three days packed with experts from a variety of backgrounds. EpiCypher’s Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Michael-Christopher Keogh, will be in attendance, showcasing our latest work on how nucleosome conformation dictates the histone code!

2. 39th Summer Symposium: Chromatin and Epigenetic Regulation of Transcription

The Penn State Summer Symposium returns to the heart of Pennsylvania this summer, with the goal of bringing together all levels of epigenetics scientists. This meeting is a great opportunity for undergrads, grad students, and post-docs to network with faculty and learn about new research opportunities. Topics will be interdisciplinary and extend from recent advances in chromatin and gene regulation to the latest developments in methods and technologies.

3. Molecular Biosystems: Eukaryotic Gene Regulation and Functional Genomics

Millennium Institute for Integrative Biology

This Molecular Biosystems conference takes place in the stunning Puerto Varas, Chile, a city that seems to spill from the pages of a storybook. 5. 65th ASH Annual Meeting & Exposition

American Society of Hematology

Dates: December 9 – 12, 2023

Location: San Diego, CA

We can’t wait to escape the frigid December days to spend some time in sunny San Diego at the 65th ASH Annual Meeting & Exposition. This conference is the world’s most comprehensive hematology event of 2023 and features a wide range of topics. This year, we are looking forward to their session on spatial genomic & epigenomic profiling in hematology and neutrophil extraceullular traps (NETs) in thrombosis .
